New DAB station Fix Radio launches soon in London
A new DAB station for tradespeople launches soon.
Fix Radio will provide music, banter and information targeted at bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, roofers, painters and decorators, whether they work on building sites or in people‘s homes.
Whilst I‘m no good at DIY and rubbish with a paintbrush, I do have to declare an interest in this quirky new station. Trev and Ben from my former community radio station Croydon Radio have a paid gig on Fix Radio when it launches, hosting the coveted breakfast show slot during the week.
Time will tell how successful this new venture will be (and I wish them well) but in the meantime, good luck to the new breakfast show hosts when the station launches on Wednesday 26 April.
